Gezien in silhouet, heeft de 812 Superfast een fastback-slankheid: een ontwerp met twee ruimtes en een hoge staart die doet denken aan de glorieuze 365 GTB4 (Daytona) van 1969, waardoor een agressieve achterspoiler die ontworpen is om downforce te garanderen, visueel wordt verlaagd.
